Original Landscapes, Skyscapes and Dreamscapes
Vicki’s painting “Morning Fog” (oil on canvas) won third place award in the Rutherford County Artist’s Guild show “Celebration of the Arts” in Spindale, NC in October 2021.
Vicki won third place (cash award) for her painting “The Heart of Na Pali” in the “Creative Juices” open juried show at Tryon Painters and Sculptors in September 2020.
In 2019, Conserving Carolina asked Vicki if they could use the image of one of her landscapes for a kiosk sign at Norman Wilder Forest, a 185-nature preserve located on Hwy 176 between Tryon and Saluda (NC). Vicki painted “Pink Fog V”, an acrylic on canvas, and Conserving Carolina had a reproduction made of it on metal for the sign. It was installed in spring 2020.
